A bothy on the hill is our haven from a winter’s night.

Seated in leather armchairs by a crackling fire, we tell stories of the day; wrapped in a warm spicy scent of clove, cinnamon and sweet orange, with precious notes of sandalwood, labdanum, patchouli and pine.

How To Use

This candle has a burn time up to 40 hours.

For optimum use when first lit, allow to burn until the wax in the candle has melted and pooled to the edge; this helps to prevent wax tunnelling. Our candles are designed to burn with an amount of liquid wax surrounding the wick so always take care when extinguishing the flame and allow the candle to solidify before moving or relighting. We recommend trimming the wick between uses, ensuring it is no longer than ¼ inch/6mm.

Take care, protect the surface on which the candle rests. Do not burn for longer than 3-4 hours at a time, and do not leave unattended or within reach of children or pets. Further detailed instructions are included within the candle packaging.

Sustainability & Recycling

Cardboard Box, place in your household recycling.
Glass Votive, clean with warm water before placing in your household recycling.

Why it’s clean

Our candles are made with a blend of soy wax, rapeseed oil and artisan fragrance in small batches in our own making rooms in Cumbria.

Our soy wax comes from the soya bean, grown and sustainably harvested in the USA, and is GM free. We opt for soy wax in our candles as unlike Beeswax, it is vegan-friendly and unlike paraffin wax, it is not an unsustainable petrochemical product. The rapeseed oil is grown sustainably in the UK.

This candle contains no paraffin and all the ingredients used are cruelty-free.
This product can be collected from our Glazebury, Warrington store. Simply select 'Click & Collect' at checkout, and your order will be ready for pickup after 24 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your order is ready for retrieval.
