This was 'Rose of the year' in 2003. It has blue-purple flowers though the blue has a definite taste of red in it. The flower is very pretty. It is semi-double and unfurls to show a nest of golden stamens at its heart. The flowers are born from summer to autumn in small clusters. It is a charming free flowering rose that also has a good fragrance.
